Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Hero & Color, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. Service description

Hero & Color lets parents and guardians create personalized coloring books featuring a child's name, preferences and chosen adventures, with printable PDF output.

2. Account creation

You must be an adult or otherwise able to enter into a binding agreement. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your credentials secure. Hero & Color is designed for parents; it is not a direct account-registration system for young children.

3. User responsibilities

You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure, using accurate information, not sharing your account where prohibited, and reporting unauthorized access promptly.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use Hero & Color to generate illegal, abusive, hateful, or harmful content; sexual content involving minors; graphic violence or gore; malware; fraud; or content intended to harm others.

5. AI-generated content

Stories and illustrations are generated automatically and may contain mistakes, vary between generations, and occasionally require regeneration. Hero & Color does not guarantee perfect output.

6. User content

You retain applicable rights to the content you provide, subject to the service's license and the processing requirements of our third-party providers. We do not claim overly broad ownership of your input content.

7. Generated content rights

Your use of generated stories, illustrations, books and PDFs is governed by this policy and consistent with the terms of the AI providers used. We do not promise exclusive copyright ownership unless legally verified.

8. Payments

A free plan, paid plans, one-time purchases and subscriptions may be available. Subscriptions renew according to the selected plan until cancelled. Taxes and currency are applied as shown at checkout. Payment card information is handled by the payment provider; Hero & Color does not store full card numbers, CVV or card PINs.

9. Credits

Plans include a monthly allowance of books. Credits are validated server-side and may not be bypassed, transferred or reused outside their intended purpose.

10. Refund policy

Refunds are handled according to the refund policy configured for the business. Until a final policy is published, refund eligibility is determined case-by-case. Contact support to request a refund.

11. Subscription cancellation

You can cancel a subscription at any time from billing settings. You keep access until the end of your current billing period. Where supported, you may use the Stripe Customer Portal to manage your payment method.

12. Intellectual property

Hero & Color, its branding and service code are owned by Hero & Color. You receive no rights except as expressly stated here.

13. Service limitations

The service is provided on an "as available" basis. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features, and generation availability may vary.

14. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or threaten the service.

15. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
